The Berman Law Group Files Class Action Complaint Against the Chinese Government for their Failures to Contain the Coronavirus

Complaint seeks compensatory damages for residents throughout Florida, the U.S., and worldwide injured and harmed by a pandemic that could have been stopped in its early stages.

On March 12, 2020 The Berman Law Group filed a national class action lawsuit against the People’s Republic of China, Hubei Province, the City of Wuhan, and several Chinese government ministries. This lawsuit was filed by concerned and affected citizens on behalf of residents and businesses in the United States and the State of Florida. The lawsuit is currently pending in the Southern District of Florida, and seeks billions of dollars in compensatory damages for those who have suffered personal injuries, wrongful deaths, property damage and other damages due to China’s failure to contain the COVID-19 virus, despite their ability to have stopped the spread of the virus in its early stages.
